After 24 hours of food poisoning, I left my apartment in Downtown LA, and found my eyes were sensitive to almost any form of light. This picture was taken in the stairwell, a few steps from the elevator. The first source of lighting I began to adjust to was the florescent bulbs. These lights sharpened my nausea. As I looked up, I found sun light coming in from the opening on the roof. Although the sunlight contains more intensity then the florescent lighting, the sunlight was more pleasing for my eyes to adjust to. As you can see in the picture, the florescent light appears to have a yellowish hue, while the light being emitted from the sun, at the top of the picture, appears to be white.
