Week # 2 -
Ever year as a kid, my parents would take me and my siblings to the fair that was only a five minute drive from where we lived; still till this day I never miss a year. What attracted me to this photo I captured some time back was the contrast between the darkness and light. The light illuminating from the carousel compliments the colors that are portrayed on the ride; the colors seem to be more vibrant. Having taken the photo at night, the dark sky gives the photo a sense of eeriness.
Beautiful picture! I love the contrast too! The light illuminating from within the carousel makes it seem really 3 dimensional, popping out from the background! Definitely a struggle on the stage sometimes! we need to put lights in the costumes more ;)
