Week #2 Tree Shadow
Morning would be my favorite time of day. You get to admire nature and breath nice fresh air. The first picture is from a tree outside my house. I took it in the morning around 11am. I always look at it everyday and I noticed the pattern in the shade it made when the sun was behind it. which it's called back lighting. The second picture is a picture of a tree as well, at school. I took this picture around 10:20am on my way to class. This time the sun was lighting it from the side, so in this case we would use a side light and it would do the same effect. But I also realize we can use gobos to make that pattern the tree makes when the sun is lighting it either from the back or side.

Beautiful! Great observations! I love the morning too, there is definitely a cleaner, brighter quality of light mid-morning vs. mid-afternoon! the tree texture is lovely! and sometimes the angle of the light simply depends on where you as the viewer are standing. :) Great shots!
